I am wanting to install an alarm on my sons 97 Corolla. I just got the door power locks working smoothly by lubricating the mechanisms real well.
I saw talk about auto locks and I believe this car is equiped with the system as it will lock all the doors with 2 lock turns of the key.
How difficult is it to install this by myself? I am electrically and mechanically savy.
What systems are recommended?
What system did you install yourself and how good is it?
I am wanting something in the middle. We do not need 2 way communications (although he would think it was cool - but not the financer of it - ME) He has a nice stereo in the car and he carries his musical instruments occassionally. The car is a real beater in looks. But runs GREAT ! LoL
