car doesn't run?!!!

so i got the maf today, istalled everything and the car turns itself off. check engine light on and i cant turn off the trac on light.
i put back the airbox and the oem sensor. the car runs but now i have the check engine light on as well as the trac on one.

What MAF did you get?

i dont remember the brand but its like the oem, got it from orally autoparts 170 bucks.

Why didn't you get the jetchip? It's guaranteed and costs less. And the only aftermarket "high" performance MAF available for our cars.
Return it as defective and use the money on Jet.
