I know these are notorious for breaking, but I went ahead and bought an OEM replacement door for the upper door(not the bottom pull out bin/drawer).
This one just broke off from the door tabs, no tabs broke off on the actual console(thus needing to buy a whole new unit).
The door fits back in perfect, as it's supposed to, and it opens and closes. My only problem is I have no idea how to put the springs back the way they were supposed to go. Does anyone have a picture of this? I've google searched but can't get a picture of the actual springs from the side. The door doesn't flap open, it just doesn't spring shut and hold firm like it's supposed to.
I just need to figure what way those springs go back in, as the old door broke off and by the time I replaced it they were practically falling off.
