Check Engine over 7 miles per hour

Hello
I have a 2008 Corolla with 145,000 miles. It has been maintained extremely well. But today I my check engine light came on after driving for 2 hours at 70 miles per hour. The car doesn't stall, there was no sign of overheating nor steam coming out of the engine.

Just want to know what this could be.

Plug in an obdII code reader and pull the code if the cel is on...It's really the only way to tell...Could be as simple as evaporative emmisions (gas cap) or something demanding more attention
