Corolla leather seats....are they any good? Do they hold up well?

I've been looking at used 2016 Corollas...S Premium and an S plus. The premium has black leather seats which I found comfortable, but I wonder how well they hold up over time?

I just bought a 2015 LE Premium with black leather seats.

I read somewhere that Toyota doesn't actually use leather in their seats. Instead they're called "Softex," which is a synthetic, vinyl-like material.

This has the advantage of looking like leather, but unlike real leather, it doesn't crack or dry up.
