No, you don't have to only use a Toyota dealership to work on your Corolla in order to maintain the warranty. Any auto center, or even yourself, can perform maintenance and repairs on your Corolla and in and by itself, that will not void the Toyota warranty. This also holds for using any brand of parts you wish. You are not forced to use only, "Genuine", Toyota parts in order to maintain the vehicles warranty. This is per the federal law known as the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. It's your car and you can do what you want with it. Don't stand for unethical, dishonest auto dealers trying to vacuum your wallet empty with fear-mongering scare tactics about supposedly voiding your Corolla's warranty! If you experience, my personal recommendation is to walk out, find another auto center to work on your car and report the unethical/dishonest dealership to the Office of Consumer Affairs, the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General's Office and Toyota corporate headquarters itself!
