Could my 2012 Corolla CE manual be a 20 year car?

#1
I bought the 2012 Corolla new. I use it for deliveries in the city so there's a fair amount
of stop-and-go, and I drive about 13,000 miles per year altogether. I also take it to Krown
Rust Control every year. I hand wax the car two-three times a year. I change
the oil every 5,000 miles. I take care of the car, drive in gently. Could the
car make it to 260,000 miles, 20 years, if my math is correct? Or would the
stop-and-go be too much for the car, and would it be wiser to only keep it 10 years?

Thank you for your comments and answers.

William,

If you take good care of the car and don't drive it like you stole it, I don't see any reason that you won't get 20 years out of it.

However, even the best made car will cost some money in maintenence, repairs and replacement parts over a 20 year journey.... It will come down to how much money you will be willing to put into it in order to keep it running.
