Corolla SE 2011 70.8k miles
Battery year old
So this has occured for the third time. One of said times it happened while my wife was driving and car just shutting off.
Took it to Pep Boys where they found nothing in the diagnostics they ran. No cables found loose.
Now that it occured to me this is what happens. It hasn't occured while driving to me yet but after driving around made a quick stop. Came back out and car wouldn't start up.
At first the radio wouldn't come on but after a few seconds worked as normal. Next I noticed the brake pedal was hard to press. When I tried to start the car no cranking.
I left the keys in ignition in the on position. After several minutes the dash lights all came as they would normally do when one turns the keys at start up. Once this happened car started runs fine.
Kinda lost on what would cause this.

sometimes battery cables are tight, but could be corrosion between the cable and the battery terminal post. simply remove cables and clean them including battery post. hope this help
