Engine Fan

My engine fan keeps turning on for a couple of seconds and then to normal mode even when at idle, normal temprature, winter, and ac/heater off

any ideas/recommendations?

2008 corolla 9th gen

Whenever you turn on the windshield defrost the a/c will turn on even if the a/c button says off, this will cause the fan to turn on for a few seconds, it is normal in most cases for the fan to turn on sometimes just for a few seconds, but if it doesnt seem normal the way it turns on you can always check the fan relay
