FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AIRBAG ISSUE

First time enquiry,I had the airbag light and warning sign come on my 2010 Corolla Levin, Took the car to Toyota who advised that there was a fault code B1826 (short in left squib circuit)Fault in passenger front seat air bag assembly and it requires replacement needless to say after a quote of $4138.00 to get the whole new seat assembly from japan and fitted I'm a little shocked. I would appreciate any advice that others may have encountered around this issue. Cheers David

David, I've never had the issue but I recommend you check a local salvage yard to see if they have a replacement seat available. You could also perform a google search for the item. Good luck!
