Front Wheel Axle Nut Size?

I (stupidly) buggered up the threads on the end of a new half-shaft, need to chase the threads with a die. So I need to know what the ID of the axle nut is (and thread pitch) in order to get the correct size die. My tap and die set does not go nearly that large. Thanks!

It is 36. And you dont need to remove the axle nut to get the rotor off.but it should varies from car to car anyway try this size maximum it will solve your problem if it is not giving any solution for your problem the take it to the dealer he will give the exact specifications.i think you will have every information about your car parts in the manual given to you by the manufacturer.see in that manual too it is the best source.
