I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla. It has about 165K miles.
I was driving home yesterday afternoon, as I was coming off the off ramp, gas pedal decides to stop working, power steering went out and pulled over to the side. I was able to press the gas pedal to the floor one last time to safely pull over.
Tried to start it. It cranks, cranks, cranks and see the RPM jump to about 100-200 but dies out. I had triple A bring some gas my way assuming that would fix the issue but it was slim pickings. I let it sit for 10minutes, crank cranks, cranks, rpms go to about 200 and dies.
Would you say that my fuel pump has crapped out?
