k so i just bought a 5 speed 91 corolla. its one of the best driving cars ive had as goofy as it looks being a 91 station wagon and all... so before i say the problem i will say they removed the cats from the car and replaced them with thrush 40 whatever theyre called... the autozone muffler thing? yeah that. anyway. when u driving and first shift into any gear there is a weird rattling sound. makes the car sound like a diesel honestly. its weird. i cant figure out what the problem is... at idle u can rev it all day with nothing more then the exhaust sound... all is normal... idk if maybe there is a heat shield rattling somewhere... or its something as bad as the trans or the clutch going bad and rattling around... anyone have any ideas as to what i can check?
