I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The remote on my key broke so I purchased a new key on line. I had the new key cut and I programmed the key remote so it works on the doors and trunk.
When I put the new key in the ignition and try to start the car the motor turns over but will not start. I have read some web sites that say there is an anti-theft RFID security feature and the key has to be programmed to be recognized by the ignition security. How can I do this?
I have two keys that will start the car and there is a icon in my center dash that shows a car and lock which I believe is the security light.
