So my 91 corolla's A/C and heater fan stopped working. Here's basically how things went down:
For the past 3 or 4 months, the heater wouldnt work. Would only blow cold or outdoor temp air. I could manage with that, whatever. But the fan would only turn on at points 2 and 4 on the gauge. Still, it was working and no big deal.
Battery died, its Arizona, that happens pretty quickly. Swapped it out, everythings the same and the a/c was working, so its fine.
Last week the gauge would only go from off to between 2 and 3. The fan doesn't turn on at all. it feels almost like something is stuck in there when i slide it that way, but I dont want to break the gauge trying to go further.
Also, the A/C light wont come on.
So now that its getting into the mid 90s this week, thats when the fans dont want to work.
It sure seems like a Blower Motor, but I'm not 100% sure. Since the A/C light doesnt come on it makes me think its something else, but I'm unsure what to check.
Any ideas if someones had a similar problem?
