Hey guys and gals - my sons 'rolla is making a noise in 1st gear that I think is a bearing failing. It's only in first gear and is best described as the sound brake rotors make when they have surface rust from sitting a while....once it hits second it stops doing it. What do ya'll think - trans starting to fail? Car does have 249k on it. So - assuming that's a yes - is there a manual to remove and replace the trans out there?
