Parts Prices - Will They Go Down?

Looking at buying some mud mats. Want OEM, no rush as just want them before winter.

My question will prices go down as the car gets older? Would like OEM door sill plates too. As the car is so new discounts are tough to get on the parts.

If I wait will there be more discounts avaiable? If yes, how long would I need to wait?

New car dealership Parts Department's are notorious for charging full markup. I'd be surprised if the prices ever came down, as they don't have to lower the prices.

You can try contacting different dealerships and asking if they can beat the price of the other dealerships, to give you a reason to shop at the dealership you are contacting.

I got mlne for 99 bucks, ive known the parts guy at my dealer and have done biz with them for a long time. They usually give me good prices, i almost allways but oem parts and accesories those aftermarket parts have bit me in the butt too many times.

Yeah, I had Wal Mart floor mats in my Matrix and after two years they looked like death. I made sure I got the OEM ones in my car when I bought it.

Ebay- but looks like the seller is a Toyota Dealership. He lists the OEM part # too.
