Problem : Corolla 1993 brake light is always on while the car headlight is on

Good morning,
My Toyota Corolla 1993 brake light is always on while the car headlight is on, and it prevents me from driving at night to my job. I brought it to my local mechanic but they could not figure out what was going on wrong with the car. The car is driven fine , no mechanical problem nor brake problem but brake light is always on while the car headlight is on !!! They suspect there is some electrical malfunction with the Toyota Corolla 1993 but they could not figure it out. I would like to seek your advice or professional opinion if you know what's wrong with the electrical system.

had the same problem
i had to clean all of the light bulbs sockets and replace all of the bulbs
The left brake light bulb contact flattened out and caused a short from the running light to the brake light and the right side had the wrong bulb all together.
