Did head gasket on 4a-f engine 2500 miles ago. Changed water pump,thermo and put a newer rad on it.also timing belt and head bolts. Put extra 5lbs of torque on head. (had head skimmed and pressure tested)
I had noticed it not running too well recently. yesterday I heard a knocking sound as I was accelerating. Car became groggy and eventually died. Checked the carb and is blowing out rather than sucking in. No fuel getting into pistons when I checked plugs after turning over for a while.
Think the head gasket is gone again.
