Question about lifetime mileage

#1
Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and did a bit of reading and couldn't find an answer to a question that I had. I was hoping that maybe you guys could help me.

I have been driving a 2005 Corolla LE for about five years now. I picked it up with about 140k miles on it and it currently has 215k. I was wondering what you all think I could expect to get out of the car mileage wise. I've read some things that say people get well over 300k out of an engine. I think that what makes my situation different is that on my daily commute, which is about 100 miles round trip, I go up a couple thousand feet in elevation. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the effects that will have on an engine or transmission.

I'd appreciate any input from you guys out there. Thanks a lot.
