Recommendations for 17inch all season tires?

#2
I buy my tires from Costco.
They carry mostly Bridgestone but have other brands as well.
Currently I have Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires on my 14 LE.
There is an all weather version of these as well.
Just my two cents.

I'm curious about this as well. I live in Alaska, hence the lame name I gave myself, and am unsure about how the factory firestone all season tires will be performing this winter. Snow hasn't hit the ground yet so I don't know if these (nearly brand new) FS's will handle well.

@JohnnieXSE Not necessarily. The type of tires has less to do with control in the winter and more to do with the skills of the driver. But with that said, bald or summer tires won't do me any favors with FWD but the all season ones that come standard ought to do well enough. I did read some people complaining about their performance but if I was a bad driver then I would have complained about all my previous tires since driving in Alaska. Winter tires are more gummy and don't harden as much so they "should" do well on frozen but snow-less ground, or extremely hard packed snow. But extremely hard packed snow usually compresses into ice with the friction from tires so at that point I don't know how much use they are.
