I'm going to be installing a new head unit soon and was wanting to replace one of the 12v power supplies in my 04 Sport with a USB port that controls the radio. I want it to look somewhat stock, rather than running USB cables out from the glove box or center console or wherever. The head unit I'm going to install assumes you've already got this USB port somewhere as there is no front USB port on the face (it's a touch screen). Any ideas on a) if this is even possible and b) where to get the part?
This is important for installing firmware updates later on and for using Apple CarPlay (until BT CarPlay is introduced with iOS 9).
