New here. I have a reliable 1991 Corolla sedan. My mechanic is telling me to get a replacement tank and fuel sending unit. The prices online vary wildly. I'n concerned about ordering erzatz parts and having issues. On the online Toyota Factory Parts discount sites, the parts are much more expensive. I was also considering the option of buying parts from an auto salvage.
I'm looking for opinions about which way to go.
