Transmission swap.

Okay I got a 98 prizm (corolla) and the a131l 3speed is trashed. I want to swap it to the 4speed. I was told all I Need is the trans,ecu,mount, and shifter and some wiring to the ecu. I heard I have to switch the whole engine harness from the 4speed donor but some say I just need the wiring from the trans to the ecu and splice it in. But I can't locate a wiring diagram for the ecu for the trans control. Help guys and any more info will help..

Never done anything like this but I'm sure your also going to need a shift handle with the overdrive button. Also our trans ecu and engine ecu are the same ecu so you'll need to get a new engine ecu out of a 4 speed tans vehicle.
