I have a 2011 Corolla Base with a manual transmission. I took my wife out today to teach her to drive stick. She stalled out about a half dozen times going from a dead stop to 1st gear. After a number of stalls, I noticed that the Check Engine and Trac Off lights came on. We eventually stopped the lesson and I drove home. The two lights stayed on throughout the drive, but it didn't feel any different to drive. I take care of my car very well (oil changes on time, etc.). Any ideas on why those lights won't turn off?
