TigerHeli New Member Aug 14, 2014 #4 Aug 14, 2014 #4 I think most cars are probably waxed before delivery as part of the PDI. I'd probably wax it when it stops beading water - but anytime after 30 days of paint should be fine.

C Charisma Master Detailer! Aug 14, 2014 #5 Aug 14, 2014 #5 I'd like to make a strong recommendation to look into using a sealant and topping it with a wax after a few days/weeks. Sealants make an actual chemical bond via polymers to your paint; they will far outlast any wax on the market. Here's an easy to use sealant: http://www.autogeek.net/dp-poli-coat-paint-sealant.html Another-- this one is one of my favorites: http://shinesupply.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=262
