Where and what is this hose!?!

I took the engine and trans out of my 98, put a new trans in. After putting everything back together.... I can't figure out where this hose is! Not even sure what this sensor is for. It's on the firewall side of the air box and has two hoses. Where does the bottom hose come from?

dude, you had your motor out? take a look at my post, i think these are motor mount bolts that are missing, what can you tell me about them?
