The stock suspension is most likely bad i had the same problem so aftermarket shocks should fix that problem. Before i decided i wanted to lower mine my front and rear struts were shot therefore causing my car to sag and scrub. I went with 4 gabriel ready mount struts and the car rode like new...

Its good right now in the 30 mpg range rough guess but i havent started the build yet thats just my "things to do" list. When im done it shouldnt be bad once i get it tuned.
