Got a 2002 cheap - fixed it up but using oil like crazy. Quart every 300 miles. No noticeable smoke but am going to try revving it hard and letting off tomorrow. 130k miles, runs great, it's a second car and I run it 70 miles a day. I have a known leak and will get that fixed then...
