As an update, the Parrot bluetooth phone was the issue. It was plug-n-play and went inline with the radio wiring. Removed the bluetooth phone and problem was resolved. Phone went straight in the trash. Thanks for your help.

Update. I was looking for replacement carpet because I bought my daughter an 2009 for her 16th birthday only to find that it had what I believe to be carpet beetles. I tried spraying and vacuuming but realized there was a life cycle of eggs that had to be dealt with. The dealer was no help...

I removed the rear seat from my 2009. There's a wiring harness that I'm guessing goes to the fuel pump. It has an unused connector protruding from the harness. I'm sure it's for a feature that I don't have but does anyone know what it was intended for? Thanks, EKM

The dimmer has no impact on the radio at all. I've found where an aftermarket Bluetooth phone was installed by the dealership so maybe the wiring is not 100% as it should be.

Just purchased an 09 LE so I'm not sure if this is normal activity or not. When the headlights and dashboard lights come on the radio backlight goes off. It's a stock radio. This makes it impossible to see the radio display at night. Thanks for any help.
