resonator

My 2014 Corolla S has a borla muffler on it and I have been wanting to remove the cat n resonator to get a little bit different tone, will I throw a check engine light? N if so how can I get about not having a check engine light for it?

I have a 2011 Corolla LE with a Borla Pro XS Muffler, and a Spectre Cold Air Intake. I'm looking to either get a resonator delete, or replace the resonator with a glassback. Right now, it's still kind of a quiet muffler with no sharp sound to it. I know taking out a resonator can give it a...
