2018 Corolla LE Transmission Issue

#1
We bought a 2018 Corolla LE back in March of this year. We’ve put about 20,000 miles on it in that time. Recently after backing out of a driveway I put the car in drive and hit the gas. The vehicle lurched forward slowly not with it’s usual acceleration and the motor revved to about 2500-3000 rpm. I let off the pedal tried again and got a similar result. Then it’s as if the transmission finally got into gear and everything was normal. However, the wife experienced the same issue a few days later. Has anyone experienced this issue and/or have an idea where to start diagnosing the issue?

I as well have a 2018 Le got 57,xxx on it and have had no issues with the CVT. I got after market exhaust, and Pedal Commander hooked up. I usually drive in Sport mode also.

First place to start is check your fluid level. If you have less than 60,000 miles and fluid is full, should be a warranty issue and can be checked by a dealer.
