Hello!

Hello everyone! My name is Cara and I purchased a 2018 Toyota Corolla LE this past Saturday! I traded in my 2017 Toyota Yaris IA (Which as you might know was a Mazda really & let me down big time!) and I couldn't be happier with my new Corolla! I got it in Barcelona Red and really love it.

It's nice to be here!

Sounds like a good trade! Welcome & congratulations!
Thank you for the warm welcome!

And yes, it really was a good trade. That IA was terrible. The camshaft actually BROKE on it. Brand new car and it broke.. I had to be towed off the roadway and was in a loaner car almost a week. There were a few other issues with it but again, it was really a Mazda with a Toyota badge so I'm not surprised at this.

Really pleased with my car and it was worth the negative equity I had to deal with seeing as how Toyota lasts forever.

Isn't there such thing as a lemon law? I used to own a Mazda back in the 90's, and I wasn't pleased with its reliability neither. I've owned 3 Hondas (those last forever too) before I ventured into a Toyota. So far so good!

With the Lemon Law, from what I read, it has to be multiple attempts to fix the problem. I simply didn't want to deal with it and the original dealership I got it from wasn't helpful and refused to make things right. I went to another dealership and just dealt with the bit of negative equity.

What kind of Mazda did you have?

Hey, congrats and welcome! A friend of mine from DSRLeasing had a couple of Mazdas in his life and none has really given him many problems, but it is really dependable on model and luck factor. You got yourself a good ride as far as I'm concerned, cheers!
