Im not sure what the deal is my my front dome light but last weekend I replaced the factory bulbs with LED bulbs and the fuse under the hood kept blowing. They were installed properly (not that its difficult to do). But now, the copper strips on the back of the dome light assembly have been...
has anyone tried this on our model corolla? I bought the supplies from lowes today but couldn't bring myself to begin the instal. I held the rubber next to the bumper and could not decide if it added of subtracted from the front end. Thoughts? Opinions? Testimonies?
Aren't our vehicles designed for 10,000 mile intervals between oil changes? Regardless, with today's car oil quality and filters, assuming you have top tier oil and filter, 10,000 miles or 1 year should be the extent to delay an oil change.
The wires from the plug that goes into the aux/usb join a large bundle of wires (as they travel to the back of the head unit) and disappear above the glove box only to appear again in a cluster of wires. I went to the salvage yard and looked at all the newer wrecked toyotas I could to get an...
@JohnnieXSE Not necessarily. The type of tires has less to do with control in the winter and more to do with the skills of the driver. But with that said, bald or summer tires won't do me any favors with FWD but the all season ones that come standard ought to do well enough. I did read some...
This is related to my last post but since I have figured out why my USB/aux were not receiving power I figured I'd start over.
Has anyone wired up the factory USB/aux to the factory head unit or does anyone have information that could help guide me in this? The wires that are SUPPOSED to be...
I'm curious about this as well. I live in Alaska, hence the lame name I gave myself, and am unsure about how the factory firestone all season tires will be performing this winter. Snow hasn't hit the ground yet so I don't know if these (nearly brand new) FS's will handle well.
looks like I may be replacing this factory head unit. Though, I do not know if an issue like a missing aux/USB hook up warrants a new head unit. I have not had the car long enough (only 2 weeks) to tell if this factory set up is garbage or not. If I swapped it for another, I assume I would lose...
Well the car was salvaged at 2,000 miles and is now reconstructed at 4,000 miles. It's possible someone bought a brand new car and then immediately replaced a brand new radio but isn't that a little unlikely? Plus, all of the wires and plugs for the stock radio have not been cut, spliced...
Thanks everyone for your replies. So I went to a junk yard to get a replacement USB/aux jack and when I pulled mine out there were not any wires plugged into it.
I now have my dash apart searching for the missing wires and clip and I cannot seem to find them anywhere. Is it possible Toyota...
Hello everyone, I have searched and searched and cannot find anything related to this topic for my vehicle so I joined the forums here to hopefully get some much-needed answers. I have a 2016 corolla S that I bought used with only 4000 miles. I have owned it for two weeks and since owning it...
