    Yeah, that's absolutely not true at all. It's not illegal and it doesn't reduce the output of the lights. It simply changes the silver trim to black.     S Dome Lights

    I used this set for my 4Runner: http://www.ebay.com/itm/280711928627?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and had enough left over to do both my g/f's 14 S' map lights, dome light, and trunk light. They're really bright, cheap, and have lasted over a year without issue.

    Has Anyone Removed the Chrome Trim From the Bumper on Their S?

    I plan on plasti dipping the strip on my g/f's S. I'm not sure what's underneath it but don't want holes from clips or anything like that. If it's just held on with 3m, she might let me remove it completely.
