I (stupidly) buggered up the threads on the end of a new half-shaft, need to chase the threads with a die. So I need to know what the ID of the axle nut is (and thread pitch) in order to get the correct size die. My tap and die set does not go nearly that large. Thanks!

Yea, had it done professionally. Cost abt $900.00. Got good service from the tans. shop I took it to.

It has 185K miles on it now. It only slips for a second (jumps up to maybe 3300 RPM)--- and only when I am cruising on hwy, and I push the accel a bit too hard. If I accel very slow and smooth from 65-70 mph, it doesn't slip at all. I think teaching my son recently to drive it glazed or burned...
