I just got my 1991 ae92 running just about perfectly, but when i took it for a test drive, the fans never turned on and when i got back to the garage the temp gauge read that is was fairly hot and the bay felt very hot as well. I never heard the fans turn on. Any ideas on what i should check for...

im going to see if i can get a local shop to diagnose it for free. i would have had it rebuilt but when i got the car it came with the junkyard tranny so i just used that.

Where is the solenoid? Would it be worth trying to look at myself owouowould It be better to take It to a pro? And if so how muchwould it cost?

okay so i got the fluids all changed and the new filter in and its doing the same exact thing. but its only from 2nd to 3rd. would it be a sensor or cable adjustment issue?

it says dexron 2, but would dex 3 work?

hey guys I've recently aaquired a 1991 rolla that had a bad automatic transmission. I replaced it with one from a toyota scrapyard. everything seems to be in place and the car starts fine. shifting from first to second is fine but tthe problem is 2nd to 3rd. It shifts way later then it should...
