You can lift the front end, use 2 jack stands under that side, remove the tires and paint them and then reinstall the tires and remove the jack stands and then do the other end of the vehicle. Is there a way too safely suspend the vehicle with 2 stands and 1 Jack? No.

Unless you go to a very high quality intake, you're likely getting a hyped-up intake that does almost nothing and can cause engine damage. K&N intakes are not worth the money. Theirfilters let in a lot more contaminates than a higher quality aftermarket intake filter or even a $10 paper filter...
