I just asked them to change it and they did. Pretty simple. They had to do it with their scan tool they said.

I went to the dealer for my routine check-up and also asked them to change the blinker flash pattern from 3 to 7. I wish now I had told them to change it to 5. 7 is a little long. Maybe next check-up.

Not all the time. The last fill up, before yesterday, the display still read 41.3 but the actual mileage was 38.8 because I was in a lot of traffic and not being too conservative. I usually average 42-44 mpg.

I have this one installed now and it works great and it has a screen. I paid 70 dollars for it and see it has come down a lot since then. I like the looks of this one on this thread too...

I think you have a leak. They wouldn't let it out like that. They have quality control that checks those things. Keep a check on it.

Thanks Donabed Kopoian for clarifying some things. It is correct, I don' cut the car off and leave it, I keep it on while coasting these long distances, therefore everything still works. The power steering doesn't really matter while coasting at a higher speed, and the brakes still work fine...

There was only about 150 miles of interstate driving at 65 mph. BTW, it was actually 44.3 mpg figured manually, not looking at the lying display which only showed 40.9 mpg. I never trust those things. I got 415 miles on the first half tank.
