Betzy , Actually I am living in Indiana about 10 miles south of the Michigan border and 4 miles east of Notre Dame University. :) I like to spend time outside but winter spoils a lot of that. And like you I will see more television during winter than summer. Be careful more so during winter...

Good review Betzy :) I am thinking my tires are probably good for 2 more years, but I will keep those in mind. When I looked at them online the tread pattern to the right side of the tire looks more standard and the tread on the inner side looks more snow tackle . I live about 90 miles straight...

I change my filters once a year, except oil filter change is done usually around 5-6 k .

My daughter just bought a 2020 Corolla too. She had an accident and her old car got totalled. She had no injuries thank goodness.

Yep , I always use synthetic oil . That is what my year is called for. Not sure about a 2004 if they were labeled with non-synthetic. Even if they did I would stick to a synthetic. It`s a small price difference and they are much better oils.

PS , I have the 2014 Corolla and 0w-20 oil is required. Not sure what the 2004 corolla uses. Is it listed on top the oil plug?

I usually change my synthetic oil on my 2014 around 5000 miles. There are others who will go longer and even some who will change sooner.
