Do Corollas burn oil at 75,000 miles?

Toyota recommends synthetic oil for the Corolla. Using 0w-20 will also help a little with mpg and 0w-20 synthetic will pump through the engine faster in cold weather too.

Wobble issue on brand new 2017 Corolla iM

If my tires are wearing normally and I've got no other issues I don't worry about the alignment. The place I use though has an excellent alignment tech that I've got to know over the years. He's amazing and has great knowledge of thinking out of the box to solve issues. The shop will also check...

Wobble issue on brand new 2017 Corolla iM

I remember when my dad had a Nissan p/u many years ago and it was always wearing out the front tires. The dealer kept saying it was fine and would check the alignment as did other shops. He finally found an alignment shop that actually knew what they were doing and aligned it properly...

My thought exactly. Something has to be amiss. This shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

    !!! Attention!! 2014 -17 Corolla & IM PCM UPDATE!!

Toyota has used this CVT for many years in Asia with excellent results. I don't think there is any real evidence of the CVT being anything but a very reliable transmission. Toyota has made excellent CVT's in every vehicle that uses one. That being said I don't understand why so many people take...

If you do get a leak in the trunk most of the time its from a tail light seal allowing water in.

Oil Leak Backside of Engine Block 2010 1.8L 4-Cylinder - What is Leaking?

That also looks to be in the same area as the oil pressure sending unit. When I was installing my turbo I used a "T" to tapp into the oil feed. Just wondering as that could also be a possible cause.

Do Corollas burn oil at 75,000 miles?

My 09 Corolla burns nothing with 96k miles on it. Last year I took it on a 9400 mile trip and it used no oil at all. Just check the level after you change it or have someone else do it. Synthetic 0w-20 is what is recommended but isn't too expensive to do yourself. You can buy a 5 quart jug at...

    Let's see those wheels

why anyone would do this is beyond me. It may look okay when not in motion but rolling done the road it looks like crap just like a white wall tire. There is a reason you don't see this anymore, it looks like garbage.

    HIGHEST MILEAGE 11TH GEN.

I've never had that issue when driving a MT car. When I'm in traffic it's no different for me. But when the roads turn fun and traffic thins enjoying the control and response of a MT is a lot more fun. The MT is also quicker by more than a second 0-60 mph.

    Possible 09 Tire Size

Those are huge. The proper 15" size is 195/65R15. Those are much wider, not good in a snow tire and much too big in diameter. The proper diameter is around 25.0" and those are 26.9". No good. Buy the proper size. Here are proper sizes for tires that fit the Corolla properly. 195/65R15...

    Looking for Turbo kit

The kit from Turbokits.com will fit as it's the same engine as in my 2009 Corolla S. I love the kit and it's amazing to drive now. The hangup is that there are no plug-n-play harnesses for the 11th Gen ECU. If you had a tuner that could hardwire the AEM FIC then you would be set. I love my...
