Kev250R - That's a fantastic write up! Thank you. I've read the ScanGauge can really help improve fuel economy by showing the driver where they can adjust their driving style and increase fuel economy. Has it been a reliable unit for you? Where did you purchase your ScanGauge from?

Either the belt is defective or the person who installed it did so incorrectly, damaging the belt. If you wait until later to get this matter resolved, then the person who installed the belt could claim that the crack wasn't there before and it must have happened when you went on your trip...

So the driver of this truck saw the glass fall off the truck and tried to get away? If he had, I wonder how he thought he was going to explain the missing glass?

If the scratch is not too deep, you can remove it with Mother's Scratch Remover or polishing compound. If it's too deep for that, a body shop wouldn't charge too much to repaint that small area.

Kev250R - Is this shimmy only when applying the brakes, or not?

It may be so out of whack then that it needs adjusting to properly function again. When you replaced the wheel cylinders, did you bleed the brake lines?

Yes it does. It applies to any an all items manufactured.

Hi Jer. The parking brake cable goes all the way to the rear brake shoes and attaches directly to them. If the parking brake is now not working at all, somehow the parking brake cable is now not attached to the rear brake shoes anymore.
