    Steering Wheel Getting Smudgey

romo9corolla - For the benefit of everyone else, could you please share your story. What happened and how did this happen? How did you get it cleared up? Very curious.

    2003-2008 Corolla HID Options

The light output seems fine to me and it meets or exceeds federal standards, which have been determined to be safe. As long as someone drives at reasonable speeds at night, the stock headlights should be fine. If it were me, I'd be more concerned with blinding oncoming drivers, which is a...

    Found a Goodie on e-bay!

My thoughts exactly. If the lenses are tinted/smoked, this defeats the very purpose of the daytime running lights; accident avoidance/safety. Sure sounds like a cheapo foreign manufacturer to me. No thanks.

    1993 Corolla Front Struts Problem

That is indeed very strange that someone would sell you two different struts. They owe you a complete refund, at very least. The way the struts bolt up is the same, but the internal valving and damping for different ride characteristics is what makes them different. Also closely inspect the...

    Squeaky/Grinding Sound When Stopping

Welcome to the Corolla Forum! :thumbup1::clap::thumbup::balloon::party::) It's quite a feat to be able to diagnose an unusual noise in a car without being able to actually hear it. But if there is a grinding when applying the brakes that sounds like maybe brake pads that are worn out and...

Made in China-bay "quality"? The shipping is never free, it's just hidden in the selling price of the item.

    HID Kit For 2010 Corolla?

What's wrong with the stock headlight bulbs?

    2003-2008 Corolla HID Options

With all this talk of headlight bulbs, is there something wrong with the stock headlights? There's a lot to be said for not blinding other drivers and causing accidents too.

    Buick to Corolla

45,000 miles more wear and tear is significant, especially for a four cylinder. There's nothing wrong with the 3.1 litre V-6 except for the leaking intake manifold gaskets issue. But once that is repaired with new gaskets, it's good to go.

    Paint Chips

lovemycar - What difference does it make if you paid cash for your car or not? Just curious. With the paint being chipped from road debris, that is damage that your insurance company can cover.

    Found a Goodie on e-bay!

Indeed. It seems a big clue that it's being posted by someone who doesn't even speak the English language. Too many scams these days. I am not a fan of made in China-bay, "quality", products. No thanks.

    1993 Corolla Front Struts Problem

There are many products that are made to fit the same car; tires, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, etc., etc., etc., but being manufactured by different companies they are all different. It is not recommended to use two different struts from two different manufacturers on the same car...
