Most of us Probably have a "Recall" (CVT)

Most likely the fix is already baked into the 2018s.

    Spark Plugs??

You can buy the iridium plugs from the dealer. This is one job where the dealer won't charge much for labor either.

Leather seats are way too hot in the summer. Any suggestions for seat covers that are cooler? Preferably something cooler for your back on long trips.

    2015 Corolla - Towing a Small Trailer

I own the L model, which has a 4 speed not a CVT. Seems like I should be able to tow, but the owners manual doesn't speak to the different models. Is there more specific info posted anyplace online?

Oil Change Before Warning Light or Right After?

Does anyone know if we are supposed to get an oil change before the warning light turns on or is it meant to be done right after? If before, then why didn't they program the light to turn on a couple hundred miles ahead of time (think the low fuel warning light). That was a rhetorical...

2014 Corolla - Bluetooth Problem With New Phone - Software Update Anywhere?

Bluetooth isn't well regarded in general unfortunately. It is cool when it works though for sure.

How to Disable The Seatbelt Alarm on A 2014 LE Corolla

You folks are debating back and forth, but I just want to bring home a case of water bottles in the front seat without the alarm buzzing, or without buckling it in. Please don't turn this into a debate on water bottles vs tap water. lol Did anyone come up with a real solution?

    Phones- Hands Free

That's the oops hole. "Oops, we want to put the mic near the rear view mirror now, and we ordered 100,000 pieces already". "No worries George, the extra holes are free and we'll say it's for future expansion".

    Nervous About CVT

The based model, model L, is available with a 4 speed auto. The mileage isn't as good, but the price is cheaper, so possibly a better value over the long haul. I do hope the CVTs work well. They are Toyota so I'd expect high quality.

    MPG Update

Did anyone else listen to this week's Click and Clack? Not this exact issue came up, but close, and they said coasting down the interstate with the engine off is "dangerous". They also said "you might kill yourself" and "you need to stop doing that". Ray and Tom are jokers, but I would take...

It Looks Like You Can LED Every Bulb After All.

Warranty is actually an indication of how long a part will last, that's just how things work in this world. LEDs can overheat and that reduces life greatly, which is why LEDs need heat sinks and fans in high output situations. High beams are about at high of output as you're going to find for...

How Low Can I Run the Gas Tank Before I Run Out of Gas?

I don't trust the gas gauge, I assume it's setup to warn me long before I really run out gas. Does anyone know how much gas we have left when the gauge hits E?

    MPG Update

Wouldn't you be more likely to get in a crash by driving significantly under the speed limit? This comment is charming, very charming, but not mathematically accurate. You'll be saving 2 minute for every 50 minutes that you lose by driving under the posted interstate speed limit, assuming it's...

    Adjusting Headlight Beam?

I agree, first contact Toyota. Next, I'm sure that body shops need to adjust head lights after accidents, so you could contact one of them for help if it's really a problem. If it's a true safety concern then you need to consider contacting the feds.
