Black is functional and serves the desirable purpose of reducing temperatures. Other colors do not.

Donabed - Ignition, fuel and vacuum leaks were not diagnosed at all, they were just guessed at, with the, "technician", throwing parts at the vehicle. Nothing was diagnosed at all.

I prefer pink with yellow polka dots and purple stripes. :D

Sigh...darn it all. Well this is all part of the process of diagnosis. So now at least we know it's probably not the ignition coil. I say probably because with that #3 spark plug misfiring, it's possible that it became fouled and even with a good coil, it could be misfiring when cold because...

Honestly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what looks best is a personal choice. Functionality wise, black dissipates heat faster than other colors.

Actually calculate the MPG and I think you will find it's not so bad. Gas gauges can also fluctuate quite a bit so don't use that as a guide.
