Got my turn signals today. Does not appear to be serviceable. Guess I'm gonna have to check the local junkyards for wiring. This isn't looking like an easy mod. I probably won't order the S mirror covers until I know that I can use these. Anyways, these cost me about $19 each plus shipping.

Most definitely if not all of the engine is computer controlled. This seems normal to me. It needs a few seconds to recalibrate everything.

At the very least, I would disconnect the battery for a bit.

I've opened the mirror but didn't see an unused connector. I might have to hit a local junkyard and find some S mirrors. I think the wiring is probably there too.

Didn't help. Lol. I don't think there is a "separate" wiring harness. I think it's all with the door harness specifically for to S model. Unusual since there's more cost involved for the manufacturer. But I hope I'm wrong!

Also, make sure you have a solid ground for your amps. I have Kicker amps and they need to be grounded to bare metal on the chassis. No exceptions. Once I figured this out, everything sounded better.

Also, the amp turn on wire should be connected to the head unit via the blue and white wire of the adapter harness. And the adapters will plug into that double connector on the right of head unit. I'm no longer using the high low converters it... Before you cut the factory wiring harness, get a set of adapter harnesses. These are inexpensive. I think I paid about 5 or 6 bucks each, but can't remember where I got them from. I'll let you know if I remember. One will plug into your factory...
