    Screeching and clicking sound

Hello, That, my good man, is a vaccuum service valve (VSV) I don't remember the specifics, but basically, it is part of the emissions system. I'd have to double check but I am pretty sure that it vents the fumes from the charcoal canister to be burned in the intake. It only opens under certain...

No wipers, signals, or dash lights

Hello! First, check the fuses. Owner's manual should cover which fuses are where and what they do. If that doesn't work, it may be the light stalk. Lucky for you, I am parting out a Corolla S and not only have the light stalk for sale, but any other parts you may need. These cars are...

    Evap emissions code

Hello! First off, you need to know the code. If you don't know the code, it is hard to help as there is literally hundreds of evap codes. Get yourself a cheap OBD2 reader for around 50$ on amazon. The good ones even have CD's with troubleshooting guides for evap codes.

    2004 corolla power lock issues

Hey dude! So, start simple. Replace the batteries in your key fob. If that still doesn't work, it can be the result of a bad wireless key receiver. Not sure how handy you are, but they are located under the c panels on your rear deck lid. Lucky for you I actually have the pieces from a car I am...

    Revs slow to drop

Can also be the idle air control sensor. I'd get a membership to the Toyota Information Service, TIS, they have lots of technical bulletins about mechanical gremlins like that. If it is cold when it does that it can also be the warm up sequence - your car will idle high to warm up when first...

    Engine Splash Shield Rivet size

Hey dude! For the plastic rivets the part number is 90467-10183. Get them from your Toyota dealer, they charge around 2$ a piece or buy a kit of Toyota fasteners from Ebay or Amazon.

Crazy about Corollas! Here to part out a 03 S!

Hey guys, New to the site, but long term Corolla enthusiast. I have bought 4 Corollas (a 99 VE, 03 S, 04 LE, 05 XRS) and have done everything you can ever think of, including Dynammating the entire chassis, turbocharging it to 230 then 380hp, and installing 2000W sound systems. I'm joining...
