Have you tried looking up the specs for both? Or it might be having to measure everything.

I would take the car to an auto parts store and see if they have a connector that matches the OEM one. Most of the time there is a universal replacement part. The replacement might come with wire lengths attached.

I took my 08 in for an alignment and now the steering wheel feels like is floating. The steering wheel also started shaking at speeds above 70mph. I’m trying to avoid taking it back in but I don’t think I will have a choice. Anyone have an idea of what it could be?

In my 08 I blew the stop light switch fuse and that made it so I couldn’t shift out of park. Check the fuse, it’s in the fuse box under the dash. If that isn’t it, it could be the switch itself.

If you have a volt meter you can check to see if it is putting out enough power. You can check at the battery. With the car running the meter should read at over 14 volts.

I want them to work with the dome light.

Has anyone installed footwell lights in this gen? If so how did you wire it in? The kit I got is a universal LED one off of amazon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 08 CE that originally had no fog lights. Everything I have read says that the fog light wiring is there but I have yet to find it. I would love to have them turn on and off automatically with my high/low beams without having to turn the switch on/off every time.

Does that muffler change the sound?

Sounds like it might need to be replaced. Sometimes you can find an OEM replacement. Or you can get them fairly inexpensive off amazon or at Walmart. Installation isn’t too difficult.

It is not too hard. There are a few videos on youtube of how to do it.

True that! I wish I would have switched sooner

The only thing I have noticed is with ceramic pads when they are super cold they don’t work as well until they warm up.

I am looking into replacing the door seals in my 08. Does anyone know where I can get these without spending an arm and leg? Toyota wants $66 for just the driver door seal. US owner

Yeah for sure I used a wiring harness and I have a capacitor for my amp also. I have blown up too many batteries because of wiring and electrical issues.
