96 Corolla Drivers Side F & B Floor Soaking Wet

Yeah not sure, it should be more obvious. It is coming from somewhere but there aren't many options for water getting in. Might have to get it checked out by someone who can spray it top and bottom with water to see if there is anything sneaking in from any seams or plugs.

    Save the 6 speed!

It is not. It is an EC-65 transmission. It's on some other small stuff and I think the matrix. It's a stronger version and a well built unit. The 5 speeds are going to be much easier to find and they were used more extensively.

    Save the 6 speed!

It sounds like you had to special order and there are definitely very few. Apparently only two in my region and I got lucky.

96 Corolla Drivers Side F & B Floor Soaking Wet

If you can get to the top of the carpet where it meets up with the hump and firewall you should be able to access everything. I would start in cabin before outside. That amount of water sounds like the hose is disconnected!

    Radio and cold temps

LCDs... Liquid crystal displays... Can suffer from actual freezing. I have seen it many many times. Once the temps come up you should be all good. It is honestly just the fluids used in the display which are both reactive to electrical input and temperature getting too cold and getting stuck.

Questions about lowering my 2014 Toyota Corolla S

I've been down the extreme suspension rode in the past. If your corolla feels as good as mine does stock, don't touch the springs and struts. It could benefit from some good sway bars... Something more along the lines of whiteline or Cusco... Trd is going to be a compromise of what can be fully...

    Save the 6 speed!

I know there are plenty of late model rollas with stick shifts out there before it went out of fashion. I am curious how many of us are still rowing gears in '14+. SE's check in but bonus points if you snagged a L with stick. If you got an L 6spd, share how you got it!

96 Corolla Drivers Side F & B Floor Soaking Wet

Typically speaking, yes but if you have been running your defogger for the cold weather recently that uses the a/c to dehumidify so you will end up with water needing to drain. I am not sure where you live but with all the recent cold it is possible that the exit could ice up. This is only my...

96 Corolla Drivers Side F & B Floor Soaking Wet

I looked into it, looks like the hose is supposed to be on the passenger side but I still think that is the best candidate. Edit: read some more. Hoses on both sides of the hump. Definitely worth checking!

96 Corolla Drivers Side F & B Floor Soaking Wet

I would guess that the hose from you AC condensor is pinched or blocked and can't drain to the outside. I had a similar issue in my subaru. the hose ended up being pinched by the plate for the ecu so i trimmed it down and the water stopped getting backed up. I don't know where the hose is in the...

I've had a fairly good car history over the last 10 years. I just picked up a great condition 2014 Corolla L 6speed. I figured it would be great to join the community! I will have some more pics and more goodies to come but wanted to toss up a quick intro! My first "toyota" would have been the...
