    Aftermarket Wheels

Wow that's a lot of information. Had no idea another inch or two could have such a dramatic effect on so many parts of my car. I will definitely take your advice into consideration before I jump into a new set of wheels. Thanks Edit: I just had a thought: does Toyota adjust shocks, struts...

    Aftermarket Wheels

Because I like the look of a larger rim and if I go any bigger the ride would be compromised. I have only just started window shopping for wheels. I will likely use my steel rims for the winter, so I doubt I will make my new purchase before next summer

    Aftermarket Wheels

I'm not familiar with tire measurements, but I'm assuming it's the first one because I've got the 2014 basic S package and it comes with 16 inch wheels. Would it be a big issue just going to a 17 or 18 inch?

    Aftermarket Wheels

Really nice! I'll have to look around for a local tire place and get some opinions then. Not sure a Texas tire place will do me much good since I'm in Ontario  But I do like to window shop, so I will look at what they have

    Remove Side Mirror Covers

I hopped on the bandwagon with the plastidipping craze and did my rear emblems and spoiler on my corolla s. I want to dip my mirror cover/moulding/whatever, but I thought it would be easier to just pull them off and paint them, rather than newspaper and tape all around it. I was tugging on it a...

2014 Corolla - License Plate Screws

Snuck out of work early and ran to PartSource. They had what I needed. They sell a 4 pack of metal of screws and locknuts for $3. They fit fine. Not using plastic screws again.

2014 Corolla - License Plate Screws

Yeah, there's a PartSource down the street from where I work. I'm going to stop by today after I'm finished. I also went out to check Canadian Tire yesterday but they were closed as well, but I'm not sure they would have it.

2014 Corolla - License Plate Screws

When I bought my corolla, the dealership put the rear plate on with plastic screws, which I thought was odd, but okay. Well fast forward to a month later (now) and I noticed one of the heads snapped off and now my plate is just held on with one screw. I went to a dealer to get a replacement and...

    First Flat

That's brutal. I would contact the city and complain. Maybe start documenting when this happens, and after a few times take it to the city. Or maybe I'm just being petty

    Tint the Tailights?

I like the look, but I'm concerned about all the reasons listed above. I keep flip flopping on if I want to do it or not. If I get the balls I might contact my local police department and ask

    Aftermarket Wheels

Right now I have stock steel rims with the stock plastic hubcaps and I don't like the way they look. That and I'm curious to see what everyone else has

    Plasti-Dipped Spoiler and Emblems

That's weird. I didn't know that was the reason why. Are you going to smoke your lights?

    Plasti-Dipped Spoiler and Emblems

Know of any retailers in Canada that sell it?

    Plasti-Dipped Spoiler and Emblems

Love it! I've been looking for how plasti dip looks on Corolla emblems since I'm considering doing it myself. It looks great! I never considered doing the spoiler, and I like it! I can only find cans of plasti dip online though. What retailers sell it?

    Aftermarket Wheels

I want a new set of wheels for my corolla. I bought brand new, but I didn't went to fork out the big bucks to the dealer for the fancy rims. The steel rims with hubcaps aren't doing it for me. What do you have on yours? What are your recommendations? What should I look at as far as rim or tire size?

Are Plasma Tail Lights and Reverse Lights Legal?

Noob question here, sorry. What's a "plasma light"? Is it an LED or HID or both?

My First Car Purchase (Brand New Too!)

No I had to scrap it. I know the guy who owns the garage. I trust him. He even had the opportunity to sell me a car but told me to get a brand new one if I could afford it

My First Car Purchase (Brand New Too!)

I'm from southern Ontario, so we do occasionally have rough winters. Especially on cars that haven't been undercoated, which I don't think my grandfather, or father ever did. Engine had 260,000 km on it (161,500 miles). Engine and tranny were fine. Unfortunately I did scrap it. I'm not in a...

    1998 Corolla Not Indicating Speed

Could be a loose wire on the back of your gauge cluster. That would be fairly easy to fix. It could also be a broken wire connecting to the transmission. In newer cars it's a sensor instead of a wire, but I'm not sure when Toyota made the switch. Good luck!

    My phone is a bit older. It's a samsung galaxy S glide (it's like a galaxy 1 or 2 with a keyboard)
